The Osun State Government has warned political actors and other stakeholders against actions capable of triggering fresh violence following the recent governorship election.

Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, in a statement today, urged residents to embrace peace and reconciliation, amid reports of plans to cause crises in some local government councils and motor parks.

The government said the election had been concluded and called on security agencies to enforce the rule of law, urging residents to focus on healing, rebuilding and peaceful coexistence.
