The ADC governorship candidate in Osun State, Najeem Salaam, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election, urging all political actors to respect the people’s mandate.

Salaam said the outcome of the election demonstrates that politics should not be treated as a do-or-die affair, stressing the need to protect peace, unity and democratic values.

He also urged Adeleke to use his renewed mandate to address shortcomings, build on existing achievements and govern the state without discrimination.
