Arsenal missed the chance to stretch their Premier League lead to eight points after a goalless draw with Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium yesterday night.

The Reds, one of just two teams to beat Mikel Arteta's side this season, came closest when Conor Bradley's lob hit the crossbar after a backpass error by William Saliba.

Arsenal failed to score at home for the first time this season but hold a six-point edge over Manchester City, who have drawn their last three games.

Both teams battled Storm Gerrit's heavy rain and winds, with Liverpool dominating the second half despite missing key attackers like Mohamed Salah at AFCON and injured players.

Arsenal threw on Gabriel Jesus, Martinelli, and others late but couldn't break through, while Liverpool's point keeps them three clear of Newcastle and Manchester United in fourth.
