World record holder Tobi Amusan reaffirmed her dominance in the women’s 100m hurdles, storming to victory at the 2025 Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) National Trials held at the Yaba College of Technology Sports Complex in Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year-old exploded off the blocks and powered through the hurdles to win her fifth national title in a time of 12.57s.

Rising talent Adaobi Tabugbo secured second place with a time of 13.03s, while Faith Osamuyi settled for third, clocking 13.36s.

The win further underlines Amusan’s supremacy in the event as she intensifies preparations for the World Athletics Championships, slated for September in Tokyo, Japan.
